Amy B: I love to create mosaics, particularly integrating the personal imagery of my clients into the designs. I began doing mosaics about 7 years ago when I studied with Gina Hubler of Design Impact Studio in Miami, Florida (www.mosaictools.com). I did a couple of pieces after that but it was when I studied with Isaiah Zagar of Philadelphia Magic Gardens fame (www.phillymagicgardens.org) that I really took off and started creating wall-scale tile and mirror mosaics. Recently, I studied a new technique using vitreous glass with Cynthia Fisher of Big Bang Mosaics in Massachusetts (www.bigbangmosaics.com). I started with a few commissions and Piece Of Mind Mosaics was born.
